Welcome!
Thank you for choosing University Credit Union for your Financial Aid needs. As a member you are eligible for all the benefits of lifetime membership.
University Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution owned by our members and operated exclusively for their benefit since 1947. Credit Union earnings are returned to the members in the form of higher dividends on savings, lower loan rates, lower fees, and other valuable services such as online e*branch transactions and ATM account access.
As a Financial Aid recipient, it is important for you to work closely with the Financial Aid Office in the enrollment process.
Please Note: After opening your account, you must log back on to the FIU PantherSoft Self-Service Page and follow the links “Finances / Account / Direct Deposit” and enter the following information for your financial aid funds to be credited properly to your credit union account:
● Routing number: 267077850, and
● Your University Credit Union Account Number
(Account number will be mailed to you if application is faxed or mailed.)
If you choose to open your University Credit Union account without making an initial deposit, we will automatically open a savings account on your behalf. However, you will not have access or ATM privileges to your savings account until a minimum $50.00 deposit is made. Our normal $2.50 one-time membership fee is being waived for all financial aid students.
We also encourage you to open a no maintenance fee Checking Account (minimum $25.00 deposit required) in order to give you complete access to all our valuable services including Online Account Access with e*branch.
By the way, we also want you to know that your new relationship with University Credit Union entitles those in your immediate family to become members, so pass it on!
We look forward to serving you and wish you all the best in your educational pursuits!
Sincerely,
Michael J. Welch, Sr.
President/CEO
